A Home Gym is a play on words because it’s about the home and about the gym! I’ve been “into” fitness for as long as I can remember and now as a mom of three, four and under (eek!), I’m also into everything home-based. So this is site for anyone and everyone who wants to workout from their home. It will help you save travel time and allow you to get and stay in shape no matter what! It also covers reviews of deals, diy projects, home decoration, fashion… basically whatever is going on in my life.
About the Owner:
I’m a gal who has loved everything fitness since I was 15 years old. Most of my free time since then has been taken up in researching and learning about nutrition and fitness. It’s so much of a passion I even completed the certification to be a personal trainer one year just for the knowledge.
Although there definitely are more efficient ways of exercising, I’m a big believer that the most important thing is to find something that you enjoy doing. For me that’s cycling and strength training. I love a good bike ride in the open air but when I can’t do that, I work out from my home with strength training, running, walking, yoga or pilates.
I’m also a mom of three little kids (4 and under) and one my goals as a parent is to be a good example to them in enjoying AND living a healthy life. I will be focusing a lot of content on helping moms to stay fit during and after pregnancy as this is a huge passion of mine!
Wherever you are in life, it is always worth it to take even those 20 minutes for yourself to pursue health and wellness. No matter how busy you are; or how many responsibilities you might have; you should never feel guilty for taking those minutes to make sure that you are giving your body and mind what it needs for health. You’ll be a better boss, a better employee, a happier mom, a healthier parent, and simply a better you! Stop waiting for the perfect time, prioritize your health now!
